So glad we got to see more worldbuilding about magic humans. So another wonderful example of how to write a good sequel with lovable characters, high but not too high and still horrible and scream worthy stakes, and just a world.

The slight mystery/detective side to this was done really well, by the way.and I'm glad it was kept simple and not too headachy. It's beautiful, and I like that we're also seeing a bit of the self-sabotaging nature of the heroine's lonliness complex, as well as more development with all the fluffy friendships and found family things. Her urban fantasies sure are SOMETHING.funny, sweet, emotionally devastating. That said, despite me wanting to violently shake the author several instances for confirming my worst predictions, I REALLY enjoyed this second installment. You know.I thought the cliffhanger stuff was gonna be all nice until the epilogue. It features werewolves, hunters, and fae, and is filled with humor, adventure, and a sweet romance that will have you laughing out loud. United is the second book in the Pack of Dawn and Destiny urban fantasy trilogy, and is part of the Magiford Supernatural City world.
